Dubai’s leadership has unveiled Season of Wulfa, a new cultural initiative designed to celebrate Emirati heritage and community values throughout the sacred period leading into Ramadan and Eid 2026. Announced by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in mid-January, the campaign aims to encourage reflection on traditional practices, community cohesion, and shared identity through a series of events, exhibitions, and cultural experiences citywide. Beyond its symbolic resonance, Season of Wulfa represents a concerted effort to draw residents and visitors alike into deeper appreciation of Emirati history and values during one of the most significant periods on the Islamic calendar, reinforcing the city’s cultural ecosystem as it prepares for the holy month.
